I have added some close ups of the canes. I purchased it on Ebay from a seller in Belgium that was selling a lot of Val St Lambert weights. I had never seen anything similar , especially the shape.

Hi.  I collect Val St Lambert, and there is no real similarity between yours and their canes or style.  Some of the canes in yours (eg the composite red cogs) look very like Murano canes.  A rounded dome and foot is sometimes found in Old English paperweights, but these are not English canes.  The flat polished base is typical of Murano, so on balance I wouls suggest that is where it was made.

I should have posted better pictures.  What looks like a foot of a English paperweight is actually the top and is concave.  The base also has somewhat of a foot with a raised wear ring that also has a concave center.

Hi.  Thanks for the images and clarification.  It is possible that what you have is the remains of a bottle, that has had a damaged neck removed.
