Very pleased with this find, been doing well just lately, 6 inches by 4.5 bit different to what's said in 'The Book' !  ::) ;D ;D ;D it's my age !

 ??? The Book says (p.38) 6x4½-in, but examples will vary slightly as I have a Coty dish here that's 5¾-in. Remember also that some measurements were taken from Chance catalogues, which could refer to the un-slumped dimension.

Now I'm puzzled, page 38, book 1...Dishes & bowls, no Coty and page 38 book 2...tankards and tumblers, have you slipped out a new book without me noticing ? ;D ;D

Nope, but the size of the small Boat dish is shown there in book 1. The pattern is immaterial to the type of dish used.
