Hello,
I recently saw this Murano Glass Birds Nest on the Goodwill site....thought it might be mid century Seguso...anyone have an idea?
[Mod: following on from John's question below, the photos - watermarked "shopgoodwill.com" - have been removed in accordance with board policy on copyrighted images. If permission to post the images is received, please post them again with a copy of the permission statement.]

Presumably these are not your photos?
John

Hello John, no, I would think the ShopGoodwill watermark would indicate that....I did buy the piece though....
-
If you can post you own photos when it arrives that would be great. I can't remember exactly what it looks like now but I thought maybe not Seguso, perhaps Zanetti.
-
Yes, I will post some better photos...by the way, the Goodwill photos are not copyrighted. Just watermarked.

In at least the UK and USA, all photographs have a default copyright to the photographer. And there is no legal need for a copyright statement or symbol to be used.
However, because of the complications of copyright detail in various countries, the Board position regarding 3rd party photos / images is as stated in the Info, Help, Announcements forum: ADMIN: Using Copyright Material (http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,24434.msg136195.html#msg136195)

OK, here are my photos of the piece

Hi msiscoe, this is a lovely piece and nicely photographed as well.
It would be good to have a picture of the base, as there may be a little signature secreted there.
I was thinking of A Zanella, but he often hid his signatures very well.

I was looking at another site for you and found this link, discussing one very similar to yours, and you might find it interesting reading.

Have a look and see what you think.
Rosie. :)

Thank you RosiePosie for that information....I will check for a signature....it really is a lovely piece.
-
I've looked over the base very carefully and can find no signature....still a mystery....

Maybe we could see a picture of the base msiscoe? Even with no writing, the style and finish might help us to help you?
