For interest, two pieces of Davidson pressed glass, both with the Davidson lion trademark.
The first, a two handled rectangular sweetmeat dish, which I think might belong to the 1896 suite, but not sure (RD.254027), at least its the nearest I can find.
Second, a tankard or mug decorated with what looks like poppies and wheat sheafs with a rustic twig handle. This one I can find no record of in my Davidson book or online.

Your Davidson tankard is Davidson pattern number 222, and it appears (as a 'can' rather than a tankard ) in their catalogues of unregistered designs dating from between 1880 and 1890.

Did someone else not ask about the same tankard recently, or did I dream it?

Many thanks Fred for the information :-*. I would never have found it.
I just wonder if it was the one on eBay (finished yesterday) that you saw Anne? Not mine by the way.

Might have been Anne, or I might have been having a senior moment! ;D
