Hi,
Got this vase from my mum, owned by family for years (1930-50)?
no further info available.
have a look and... looking forward for identity of the vase

I have a salver in the same colour and with an identical swirl, and I know for a fact that mine is from Joska Kristall in Northern Bavaria. The woman I bought it from bought it at the factory shop.
I am not inferring yours is from the same source, you could only safely say that if you had them side by side, but chances are quite high.
datewise I would say late seventies, early eighties.
Joska is a bit of an attraction park and bus stop, and they also sell glass they bought in. I doubt if they kept registers of production models - but maybe they did....

Vase was originally owned by my grandpa (I was told), who passed away in 1965 so the vase must be a bit older.
thanks for your opinion.

If I were to guess I would have guessed ALROSE - EMPOLI italy Art Glass but that is a real guess, but reminds me of them CLICK HERE (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Alrose-Massive-Italian-Empoli-Green-White-Glass-Vase-/360881669944)
Just throwing that out there. Thanks

Thank you!
I'd say you are right.
Done, closed.

a bit offtopic - I'm not able to clean the vase. Tried citric acid, different detergents. No real success.
Got hint for sulfuric acid but I'm not brave enough.

Water staining is nigh on impossible to remove with using physical techniques such as tumbling with abrasive powder, and to be honest it's not worth it for this vase
