Title: Opalescent Egg-Shaped Art Deco Swirl Vase - French, Murano, Studio?
Post by: horochar on June 06, 2016, 05:59:03 PM
I'm hoping for help identifying this nice vase.  It has a pontil and an illegible engraved signature.  I think it may be circa 1930s/1940s French or Murano, but having an engraved signature, it could be more contemporary studio glass.  It has the "feeling" of a production piece, however.  The walls are thinner than one would see on a Seguso or Barovier piece, in my experience.  However, I've only handled 1950s and later pieces by such makers.

Thanks,
Charles
