Title: Animal themed day out.
Post by: keith on June 26, 2016, 05:40:47 PM
Good day out at Malvern, meeting David, Patricia, Stuart and John with thanks to David for spotting the Royal Brierley frog, the other is a Wedgwood pig, first I've seen,  ;D ;D

I like the RB frog Keith  -  don't think I've seen on before - frogs must be one of the less common glass creatures  -  hope your day was reasonably dry.

Since you've opened up this 'animal park', Hope you won't object if I attach couple of pix of mine........ the larger pig is signed 'Paul Miller L.G.', and can only think the smaller one is a product from Murano - it has a core of silver foil.               But what do you consider might be the origin of what I think could be 'Deputy Dog'  -  this too has a Murano look about it, and the base is highly polished and smooth?            I'm only guessing it's Deputy Dog - could well be another cartoon dog character.

no matter Keith  -  I don't take these things too seriously :)                     Sorry, meant to say that the L.G. is Langham Glass.

Think we have an otter, snail, panda, polar bear, ( do fungi count as 'animal' ? ) three mushrooms and now a pig, not forgetting a pile of those Romanian fish, oh!  and a possible Walsh fish, there are others but I'm waffling now  ::) ;D ;D
