Title: ID Help: Murano or Czech controlled bubble dish
Post by: chasdevlin on July 14, 2016, 05:17:00 PM
Hi. I'd like to chance my arm with another request for ID help if that's okay.

It's a dish with folded rims and controlled bubbles which increase in size as they go to the parameter. It also has a ribbed pattern on the inside of the dish. I presume it has been moulded as there doesn't seem to be a pontil mark. Its colourway is a turquoise rim which graduates to an amber centre. It weighs just under 3 kg, it's length is 9.5 inches and it is2.7 inches high.

It looks a bit like some of the Beranek glass I've seen or Murano, but I'd like to pin it down more if I can. Thanks

Tough to pin down but I would go with Murano rather than Czech.  It might be by Fratelli Toso but there will be many other possibilities too.

Good size.

Thanks for the reply. Anyone got any other ideas?
