Title: ID required. Millefiori with small a or b in cane?
Post by: Scottishguy on July 29, 2016, 03:26:50 PM
Hi,

Im for an idea on these two paperweights if possible. Doing a bit of readership online, one is a Millefiori with small a or b in cane? I've seen similar ones from Perth sire but they seem to have a p in the cane

Many thanks for any feedback

Hi Scottishguy, welcome to the Board.

I have removed your initial thread as this one duplicated it.

Also, please post separate items in their own thread, otherwise things can get confused if discussion occurs for more than one item. Please therefore start a new thread for the second weight and somebody will soon give an ID for it on the new thread.

Thanks Kevin.

I'll start a new thread for the other paperweight.

Definitively Perthshire - with the P-cane inserted upside down.

Would it be possible to upload your photos directly to the board please?  Tiny pic tends to devour them and then they are lost for future reference and searches.
Many thanks

Many thanks for the answers. I tried to upload the pictures directly M but the forum says they are too large to do so. I just took the pictures on my phone.

Scottishguy, please see:    TECHIE TIPS: Resizing images to fit the board (http://TECHIE TIPS: Resizing images to fit the board)

Using www.picresize.com is quite simple and by reducing an image to 700 pixels max size, the routine will usually produce a very good image less than Board limit of 125Kb. The resized image details are shown in the web page so if it is still over the limit, just go back a stage or two and change a parameter.
