Title: help identifying ovoid amber art glass bowl

Hope its ok to add another item, usually pretty self sufficient but this also has me stumped, any ideas on maker please, it has good wear to the base with some bubble inclusions. the glass is ribbed where the overlay of black has been added. measures 7.5" tall kind regards E

I have seen some 1950s venini glass with this ribbed overlay of glass, but more pronounced. But may be this too is murano?  Has anyone seen anything similar as well? E

Is that pontil mark shiny or matte?

Hi, it's an odd one it is rough, not polished off more like the imprint of a fabric cloth used in glass making. What are you thinking X E

If that is iridescence I see then I am inclined to think Czech, possibly Rückl.

But the colour did make initially think Czech x

The pontilmark makes me wonder if it's Chinese

Chinese imports have been around for a fair while and it doesn't take long for wear to build up if something is moved around a lot, so you can't really use wear to rule Chinese glass out or in

The wear on this glass base is most definitely more than 20 or so years x
