Recently purchased this very solid vase, 6.5 inches wide by 5.5 inches tall. It appears to be signed unerneath "HARCUBA". The only reference I can find is JIRI HARCUBA, who was a renowned Czech engraver. There is no engraving on this so I am guessing not him, apparently however he did come from a glassmaking family. Unfortunately I can't find any reference to any other member of the family or any other factory using this mark. It has a paper label on base reading 50 065 which I am assuming is a price label but no idea what currency it might be.
Hoping someone on here may be able to shed some light on this Thanks John

Can it be Karhula? Scandinavian?

Am attaching a clearer photo, still pretty sure it says HARCUBA

Hi,
I just had a look at other Harcuba signatures and it seems possible that you are right. I have no idea about his non-engraved work, but as he was clearly an artistic guy, there is no reason why he wouldn't produce designs away from engraving. I know he worked in the States for some years, perhaps he has an archive in the USA, or people he worked with are still around to ask? Best of luck,
