Sorry the base shot is terrible, but it is a very shallow hollow and it just reflects any sort of light source.
I know I've seen this vase somewhere before, but I'm not having much luck.
I know it is West German, as that part of the label is intact. It is 6 sided with saw teeth on three of the edges.
180mm in height
TIA

I do believe this is a Bayer & Co vase.

Hi Della!
Could you please try to "repair" the label?! What i mean is you could try to make some more letters visible when you very carefully try to fold the sticker on the right side where you only can see the back of the sticker which is silver coloured. Sorry, but i am not a native speaker (i am German) and may be you don't understand what i mean. In my opinion it is not Bayer. More letters would really help :-)
Regards
Micha

I understand what you mean, Micha, you have explained yourself incredibly well. I will have a try in the morning when, hopefully, I will have found my tweezers :P

i am very optimistic that we will find out with a new pic :-)

I think it just says 'Crystal' Micha
I've tried to find a label of similar shape, but not managed yet.

Sure could read Crystal, but also could read different.
You will only know it when you "repair" the label :-)

Sorry, Micha, wrong photo ::)

I guess it could read Lead Crystal, the english words for the german "Bleikristall". Such stickers are known without a company name, only telling about the material. Will keep my eyes open if i can find your sticker in a better condition.

just google with
24% lead crystal
... and i guess you sooner or later will get your ID :-)
