Title: Stuart Crystal glass cut with simplified leaf sprays
Post by: AJK77 on September 03, 2016, 07:41:17 PM
I bought some Stuart crystal glasses in the late 80s or early 90s from the Wedgewood shop at Oxford circus - I think the model was called 'Juliet' but can find no record of such a thing anywhere on-line.  Have I got the wrong name? Or is it just too rare to appear on-line. I only have one left but would potentially be interested in more.

Welcome to the GMB.

Stuart's 'Juliet' pattern wine glass (with a description matching yours)  in shown online at
http://www.replacements.com/webquote/stujul.htm

It is described as being discontinued (but in production between 1988 and 1990).

I've searched on eBay but to no avail currently, so I suggest that you search online through some of the glassware replacement sites (though you may have to pay a hefty price to purchase pieces from such sites).

Big thank you, Fred, I see it's listed as a water goblet when I saw it as a wine glass - perhaps that's why I was struggling to find it.  If it was in production that briefly, my chances of matching look poor. A pity, as it's a very elegant design.
