Title: Webb Corbett commemorative.
Post by: keith on September 20, 2016, 05:09:17 PM
I'm presuming it's W.Corbett, first I've seen in regards to overseas monarchs, this one is the silver jubilee of king Hussein of Jordan, think I must have around ten of this type of pwt now, maybe more  ::) ;D ;D

Yes looks like Webb Corbett to me also.
They dont cost very much as a weight but they are well made and commemorative anyway.
This is one I had many years ago but not now.
   Regards Roger.

I own the same one - just different colour overlay: it is not engraved nor etched - it is printed on the base. I believe this to be Murano - not Webb Corbett.

You could be correct, but the research I did at the time I guessed it was webb corbett because of its weight and bulk and shape design.

The exact same design of screen printed flower as used on some of these faceted type weights was also used by Dema on some of their glasses, see http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,71964.20.html
