I'm presuming it's W.Corbett, first I've seen in regards to overseas monarchs, this one is the silver jubilee of king Hussein of Jordan, think I must have around ten of this type of pwt now, maybe more ::) ;D ;D
-
Yes looks like Webb Corbett to me also.
They dont cost very much as a weight but they are well made and commemorative anyway.
This is one I had many years ago but not now.
Regards Roger.

I own the same one - just different colour overlay: it is not engraved nor etched - it is printed on the base. I believe this to be Murano - not Webb Corbett.

Thanks both, see a lot of these with varying prices saw a couple recently with foil backs I doubt they were W. Corbett. ;D ;D
-
You could be correct, but the research I did at the time I guessed it was webb corbett because of its weight and bulk and shape design.

Have seen a number etched with flowers, my own are mostly plain with a couple of advertising logos and a couple of spiders, here's a few... ;D

The exact same design of screen printed flower as used on some of these faceted type weights was also used by Dema on some of their glasses, see http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,71964.20.html
