I was given this Arte Murano vase as a gift. It is 6.5in (16.5cm) high and is a lovely opaque with red, green and gold "staining". I would like to know what this process is called. Also, if someone could give me an opinion of it's age and value, that would be appreciated.

Hi Barb, welcome to the Board.
There are various labels of this type (with "Arte Murano" on them) and one can be seen here:
http://www.yobunny.org.uk/glassgallery/displayimage.php?pos=-1958 which has the same "S"-type logo, in this case indicating "Silvestri".
Searching the Board for "silvestri" shows a couple of threads of interest, indicating a possible source of China or Taiwan
