Question please, did webb do a light purple with loads of bubbles in it?
-
difficult to reach a conclusion, I think, when using words only to describe colours - are you able to show the piece??
-
No i'm afraid not,the piece i've seen is heavy and looking around Walsh's pompeian is the closest, but i haven't found a lilac purple colour example,it has that Webb look about it with a large polished pontil with ripples around it,i think they want the right money for it and i'm tempted ::)
-
Well miracles do happen :)it was more than halved in price over night ??? :),it's very heavy,6.5" ht and 7.5" wd with a very slight hint of milky irredesence towards the base,if it isn't Webb it can always be moved so not to murky the water.

That looks like Walsh Walsh Pompeian. The colour is shown middle of p46 Reynolds and the shape in pink at the top

Great thanks ;D
