Hi All,
Would welcome any thoughts on this pedestal bowl.
Pink and White with bubbles that are surrounded by brown. The base looks moulded and is cased in clear glass.
Brass support and screw type fitting to both the base and top.
Unsure of age. Slight tarnishing to the brass.
Height 36.4cm
Diameter of bowl approx 16cm
Any thoughts / pointers most welcome.
Thanks,
Greg

Few more pics, one of the moulded/cased base and a few of the brass fittings....

In for a penny, in for a pound, I'll take a risk and say I have a funny feeling this might be Grey-Stan...
I might be wrong, Greg, but have a very careful look for a faint signature somewhere on the surface, but near an edge.
Waiting to get shot down now. ;D

Hi Sue,
Thanks for having a look. :)
Unfortunately no markings of any kind that I can see.
Quite a tricky piece to date, which doesn't help narrow the search!

I'd really like Nigel's opinion of this, Greg.
It's got the right sort of halo of dense enamel around the bubbles and the combination of three colours with one being a contrast, is much more Grey-Stan, to me, than Nazeing.
