Title: Iridescent Vase - signature help. ID = Mtarfa

This vase is 4 7/8ins tall x 3 3/4ins at its widest and weighs 407g. Some of the design is raised. Any help with the signature would be appreciated. I wondered if it reads Mtarfa but it doesn't look as if there is enough there for that.

It does read Mtarfa. You have to be able to decipher it from the experience of encountering it beforehand. It's upside-down. It's slightly easier to decipher the right way up.
But not a lot. ;D

Thanks Sue. Older or new? Seemed a tad more fancy than some I've seen.

Old-er, I think. There is another mark that is newer, but I can't rememeber exactly what that's like now...
