4 inches tall, bit small for butter or cheese, any ideas please and thanks Chris  ;D ;D

These date from the late 1940s when rationing was in force, so it might be for butter. Never seen that pattern recorded before.

Neither had I, clear mark to the plate seems they made more shapes than we thought.

Ah, I can't locate my copy ATM. But it doesn't appear very large for a lump of cheese - mouse proportions, perhaps?
