My wife bought this home today from a charity shop. I know it a shape that is seen quite a lot, although this ones seem to be particularly nice.
I would describe it as opaline overlay enamelled glass with some gilding. All the gold enamel panels are different.
Is it possible to put a maker name to it or is Bohemian about it , also what age would it be as I see some similar items can date to as early as 1850.
Height 4.75"
Thanks in advance for any help.

It's Bohemian in my opinion. Putting a maker on it might be long shot, but not impossible. And you might be able to date it perhaps earlier than 1850.
You will need to do some searching though.
Dr Fischer auctions is a good place to start. They are obviously experts on these as they've sold thousands and have access to the current information I guess.
If you search on Live Auctioneers, and put Dr Fischer auctions in the requirements, then all their auctions should come up with pics that enlarge. If you just use their own site their pictures are quite small.

For date I'd say c. 1840-1842 ish and for maker I'd say probably Adolfhutte bei Winterberg
source: Das Bohmische Glas Band II for a similar arched design goblet in the similar pale blue over white page 162
and page 91 for a becher in pale blue opaline glass with similar style enameling decor.

Thank you very much m for taking the time and effort and giving us a good idea of a possible maker and age.
