Looking for suggestions to see if this is close to Czech Deco perfume. It was in a group of Tiffin blue satin pieces but not Tiffin & not even U.S. 7 1/2" height & 2 7/8" diameter. Peg stopper, bottom slightly polished & flat. Thanks for your help & comments.

my opinion Ken is that this is neither a deco colour nor a deco shape. My literature on these things is rather meagre and about the only reference source I have is the proverbial 'MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA' booklet by Ruth A. Rorsythe.
This illustrates dozens of scents/perfumes from Czechoslovakia from the 1918 - 1938 period - the height of the origins of deco style - mostly examples with stoppers and a few atomisers.
In the book, the non-atomisers are typical of deco designs, with very OTT stoppers, and most are in non-frosted finish, with both clear and a variety of colours, but it seems nothing like your blue, which I'm assuming is a sort of watery turquoise.
The outline shape of your piece, in my opinion, shows curves rather than an angular shape which was one of the features of deco design - the flat polished base would probably be the only feature it has in common with Continental deco style glass.
None of which means yours doesn't hail from Eastern Europe, but I don't think it comes from the inter war years - then again it may come from almost anywhere.
I've attached a picture of what are possible some deco period scents - and my opinion is helped by the metalwork which does look to have deco styling, even if the glass doesn't.

Thanks Paul for your comments as usual I should have thought to use a qualifying statement using Deco since I do collect Deco. I was thinking of the rather short revival period of the early to late 50s (approx 8 years in the U.S.) not the original period of early 20s to mid 30s. The designs then were not as vivid or severe as in the early period. The base shot does exhibit some of the base pyramid shapes not picked up very well on the piece since they appear on the base only & the linear body lines are what is captured on the profile shot. Probably not going to be able to pinpoint anything specific if it is the later 50s period but figured I'd give it a shot. Again thanks for offering your thoughts. Don't get on as much as I used to as DW & I spent the past year & a half significantly downsizing collections (successfully) & we gave up our mall showcases due to age plus kids prodding us so they would not have to deal with it later on if & when it came to that. you're right of course about the use of the word 'deco', and whilst it can indicate that something originated in the '20s - '30s, it can equally, be applied to something made yesterday, in the 'deco' style. Anything in that style, whenever it was made, can justifiably be called 'deco',
though I think you're onto a loser with id ing this one, but attractive nonetheless.
