I bought this vase in a charity shop, years ago. It looks rather mass produced and lacks any markings, but I am quite fond of it.
I'd like to see if there's any more of this style of glass that takes my fancy, but I just don't know what to call it.
Annoyingly the photo I took looks more green than amber, but you'll get a good impression either way.
Thanks for the help.

the sticky out bits on your vase have much similarity with some of the Czechoslovakian glass from houses such as Hermanova and Rosice, produced in the 1960 - 70 period. Have a look at Czech. pressed glass - am sure you will find other designs that have features in common.
I doubt that it matters what you call it - if you like it that's all that matters.
sorry, also meant to say welcome to the GMB. :)

Aha, it looks like it's Rosice glass alright. I've seen some suggestion it's by Jiri Brabec.
Looking at examples of his work, and the work of Rosice in general, it seems like I might have found his most exuberant piece. There just isn't anything online that's as fun looking. When people see it for the first time, they'll usually say it looks like an adult toy ;D
Anyway, charity shops back then must have been a treasure trove of Czech glass. I have memories of them being full of wobbly amber glass and this is the one that really caught my eye.
Thanks.
