Title: ? Skrdlovice vase
Post by: mattschlan on January 05, 2017, 08:58:59 PM
Any help in identifying this vase would be much appreciated.

I have seen similar Skrdlovice designs i think by Marie Stahlikova/ Marie Veliskova but not with the elongated pulled rim.

It is quite small at 15.5cm tall to the top of the pulled rim and weighs 281g.

Thanks

It would be helpful to have a clear photograph of the base.
Is the base highly and well polished? or is it slightly matt?  Does it have a finely bevelled edge to the base or is it just sharply cut at the join with the sides?

Thanks for that confirmation Jinrich, that's the reply i was expecting in all honesty. The query was wishful thinking on my behalf really, but also with a genuine desire to learn.

m - the base is highly polished and has a sharp not a bevelled edge.

Murano surely, slightly atypical sommerso vase but all the elements fit.
