Title: Almost clear 'junk' vase, something or nothing?

Hi guys, it's me again posting one of my very infrequent newbie-esque ID requests. I'm afraid to admit I still know almost nothing about art glass but keep on following my instinct and occasionally get lucky. Anyway, today whilst rummaging around in some unwanted junk I came across this rather plain looking (at first glance) glass vase. It was filthy dirty and in amongst a load of old kitchenware but something about it caught my curiosity. So was my instinct right or should I have left this with the rest of the old pots and pans?

Sorry guys, was in a bit of a rush with the above pist as my phone battery was about to die. I should probably apologise about the quality of the photos and mention that the vase is approximately 200 in height and appears to the eye an almost opalescent or clearcwith the mearest hint of pink maybe. Anyway heres hoping someone can shed some light on it's origin.

Hi - it looks as though it might be a Lars Hellsten design for Skruf, Sweden, but worth checking ;)

Thank you so much for that, I'll be doing some digging on the net tonight and you've now given me a good starting point. More than that, you've bolstered my waning confidence as my partner thinks the vase is just a piece of tasteless tat lol  :D

A bit of "tasteless tat" would not have a beautiful, round, polished pontil scar.  :)
That is a very work intensive thing to do, to finish an item off.

Trust your guts.  ;)
