I have recently bought a batch of paperweights which I am certain are all Scottish, from the Ysart/Strathearn stable. I would very much appreciate your help in correctly identifying the era that these were made in.
There are quite a few, so I beg your indulgence. All pictures are also hosted in my Scottish paperweights gallery on the Glass Queries Gallery.
This is blue and red, slightly flattened dome with slightly yellow glass
Many thanks

Hi Lynn
Looks like Strathearn - but the base is puzzling as I haven't seen a Strathearn before still showing the pontil button and what are those creases???

Thanks Derek :) I wondered if the button should have had a leaping salmon on it?

I agree with Derek. But there is no way to check with uv light whether it is Strathearn or Vasart Ltd. One thing, though ... I think it is too neat to be Ysart Brothers period.

Thanks Kevin, I reckoned Strathearn too from the neatness of the top.
