Title: Edward Moore tumbler Regs. Nos. 75015/16 and 75091/92.
Post by: Paul S. on January 31, 2017, 04:27:54 PM
all four from June 1878  -  the first two are the 8th and the other pair from 9th  ...................   apologies the pix are ropey.....   there was a leather and wool glove laying over part of these images which accounts for the glove outline which has also discoloured the drawings  -  could have been worse, it might have been a large layer of fabric or wallpaper.
I don't recall seeing these  -  they might be items of some rarity or just that I don't frequent the right places - alternatively, tumblers probably have a hard life and are items that are abused and therefore don't have a very good survival rate.            In view of the date of Registration, these would have carried just simply a Registration No. and not a lozenge, so in theory they should be recognizable if found  -  perhaps someone here has one or more in the flesh to show.

Thank you for showing these, Paul.

I've never seen actual examples from these RDs either.

I will add your pictures to the GMB RD database this evening.
