Title: Purple cut glass bowls, Stevens & Williams?
Post by: chilternhills on February 05, 2017, 11:07:09 PM
I bought four of these cut glass bowls. The quality seems good. They are about 6 inches (15 cm across). Could they be Stevens & Williams? I am just guessing. There are no manufacturers marks.

Here are a couple more pics. The bowls are at the museum at the moment, so don't have them currently to hand. I took these pictures a couple of weeks ago and are the best I have at the moment.

Have you looked in Charles Hajdamach's 20th century British Glass?
There is quite a lot of info on cameo glass in there.

Yes, indeed. The designs on pages 32-33 and 144 suggested S&W for these bowls too.
