help with ID of this star design weight  , previous owner was member daveweight

It's the "Star" pattern, no 38 in the 1980/1 catalogue of Scotia weights by Willie Manson. An unlimited edition and made without the Thistle cane that can be found in some Scotia weights.

                       Dave did say he thought it may have been Scotia but when he had put it nex to others he had it was a lot higher domed , thanks again

Hi all

Here is the star weight from the Scotia 80/81 brochure.

The weight Daveweight had was a 5 pointed star, the one in the brochure is 6 pointed !
