Title: Help to Identify M. Harperink animals
Post by: luttonlodge on March 05, 2017, 12:43:51 PM
I recently bought at auction these three glass animal figures. When I got home I  searched the internet and found a Maarten Harperink who has a shop selling imported goods. I have found that he currently imports glass from:
Iittala
Kosta Boda
Mats Jonasson
Orrefors
Venini
The shop in Hertogenbosch, Netherlands has been operating since 1815.
My question is can anyone help buying identifying where each of the animals came from. My assumption is they have all been made in the last 50 years (I could be wrong on that), but the list of suppliers to Mr Harperink may have changed over those years, as the glass companies have closed etc.

I've seen the polar bear attributed to Reijmyre before. A quick google search also brings up a Reijmyre labelled bird which matches yours. Presumably the horse is also Reijmyre too given the similar style and base texture.  :)

Thank you for your help.
I really enjoy the challenge in searching out various glass items I buy but, sometimes I draw a blank and ask this message boards 'for a clue' and somebody always comes up trumps (if we can still use this word).
Given the name Reijmyre I have now identified the bird and bear myself. Mosquito thinks the horse is also Reijmyre, so I am almost there.
Thanks again
