Hi. Hope someone can help. I found this 'lens' (I suppose that's the best way to describe it) clear glass vase in West Yorkshire. I've described it as a 'lens' vase as it has 30 concave dimples (lens?) running up the side in a series of 5 per vertical line. It's a piece of blown glass (there are a number of small air bubbles trapped in it) and measures 19.5 cm tall c x 7 cm in diameter at the widest part (at the centre) and weighs just over 630 gm. Any help much appreciated.

Hi. I must admit when I first saw it I also thought Czech as well, but according to all the books I have Czech blown moulded glass does not have the 'star' pattern on the base. Also the rim looks a little to ornate (IMHO) for Czech. I was thinking more like British & a maker like Sowerby or Bagley, but as yet I've found nothing that even closely resembles it.
