This is an unmarked amber vase, weighing 530g and measuring 190mm high... it has a most interesting base in the photograph, caused a giggle when looking at it ;D
-
Think that's Caithness...
-
Yes, Caithness.
:) Another point for us to bother you with again. Can you try to make the titles of the threads a little bit descriptive of the piece.
It's very difficult for us to remember which hoard number is attached to which bit of glass, and it doesn't help any searches.
Don't worry about it, or be put off, we were all newbies once. It took me literally months to learn how to post images at all.

Thank you both, I thought it was similar to the Autumn Leaves vase... Great point regarding the subject headings Sue, I will make sure I use a description in any new threads, I don't think I can change the original headings on those already posted though; I appreciate your tips and advice. Many thanks ;D

No, it has to be done by the moderators, but they will follow your suggestions :)

............... so what do we call this one then ................ Caithness Clowns Face vase ;D ;)
Most of the Caithness vases I see are marked in some way, on the bottom - assume this one is the exception to the rule.
-
Most of the ones I see aren't marked Paul...

perhaps I need Specsavers again then Christine. ;)
