Title: 1960's / 70's large Smokey Glass Vase (Purpose?)

Hello there,

I wondered if anybody could help identify this piece of glass and what was it's purpose if other than a vase?  It looks as though it may have fit into something else but I'm not sure.

It's 22cm tall and 25cm wide.

A flat smooth base.

Possibly a Stennett Willson design, RSW10....

WoW - that's exactly my vase!! They even have a smokey grey one there!

Now I know it's not supposed to 'fit' into something - I did wonder - thank you.
