I am clearing out my cupboards and found this tall fluted bubble vase. It came from my grandmother's house.
It is 24cm high and 13 cm in diameter. It is heavy and has no marks or signatures that I can see.
I would love to know more?

Hi Cosi,
Welcome to the forum.
Your vase is Danish and was produced by the Hadeland Glassworks and designed by Willy Johansson in the 1970s. I believe it is from their 'Atlantic' series.
Hope this helps. :)

Thanks Greg. Armed with your information, I have just found a picture of one online. It looks beautiful when cleaned up. I shall go and give it some TLC forthwith!

You're welcome Cosi, glad I could help.

Ahem, Norwegian rather than Danish. I am surprised it is not signed simply "Hadeland" - can be tricky to spot, they come in a few shapes and sizes and to my eye a really good design.

They are lovely designs. Thanks for correcting my post John, one of those days! :)

Now you have me examining it with my strongest glasses on! I can definitely find no mark or signature. Maybe it is the Danish version after all :). Thanks again for your knowledge chaps.
