Hi all. There is a brand new online glass shop. Check it out, see what you think :).

Some fine examples of modern glass on the site.
Good luck with the venture.

Good site, but where's all the Royal Brierley Studio ? ;D ;D ;D
-
Thank you Tim :). Cheers Keith, I'll bung some on tomorrow just for you ;).

I've been having a browse too. I'm afraid I inadvertently did some proof reading, it's Bo Borgstrom, not Bo Brogstrom, beside your description of Aseda and the tall two-tone vase. Chief is another one where fingers got twitchy, with Frank Thrower being a cheif, and O'Brion is missing his apostrophe.
Finger twitches on wrong keys, nothing more. Hope you don't mind me pointing it out. :)
I can ask a moderator to remove that (above) bit of this comment once you've sorted those. No need to have a few typos advertised. :-X
Nice to see my lovely little Mdina side stripe, the one I got from you! ;D
It's not for sale. 8)

Cheers Sue :). Sometimes it takes a different pair of eyes to spot the errors. Day off work tomorrow so I'll get it sorted. My biggest concern was getting the info wrong as most was from memory.
The little side stripe remains my favourite piece of Mdina, that's why it made an appearance. Glad you're still enjoying it :)

It does. When you are the author, you know what you mean to say, so your brain tells your eyes what they saw, not what is actually there.
Your brain doesn't tell you everything, (you'd be stuck forever if it did). It only bothers you with information that it considers relevant.
If you're reading it for the first time and looking for the information, rather than providing it, you do notice. (Especially if you're a nit-picking saddo like wot I am.)
The side stripe is right in the middle front of my shelves, there's an ordinary button rim blue one in the middle and the two amethyst striped ones on either side.
I like that there are two of the scarce ones and only one of the normals, when I know that is totally unrepresentative of reality.
It's a significant place of honour. I moved my National Treasure for it!
(A Sam Herman RCA piece from '67.)

Just finished work and decided to sort it before I had a worrisome sleep, so it's now done :). Thanks for your input Sue :).
That really does sound like a very prominent place for the side stripe, I'm very happy it's gone somewhere so loving :).
