I recently purchased a Mdina Chalice, signed, picture below.
Is it genuine, if so who do you think signed it?

That looks like what we know to be Eric Dobson's writing.
Can we see the chalice, please?

It makes better records when the thread is fully illustrated.
The slightly later shape, completely consistent with the date.
The very early ones have a bell shaped bowl, not straight sided.
