Eleven Registrations from Sowerby on 29th October 1877 .......... this one looks to agree with 315673, as per the attached. I did look on the Board's Glass Gallery but nothing came up on a search for this one, so presumably we've not had it before. Described as a Glass Basket.

Thank you for showing this, Roy, and Paul, for your prompt input. Certainly an uncommon pattern.
It is, however, already on the Glass Queries Gallery Sowerby Pattern album at
http://www.yobunny.org.uk/glassgallery/displayimage.php?pos=-23264
(http://www.yobunny.org.uk/glassgallery/displayimage.php?pos=-23264)and
http://www.yobunny.org.uk/glassgallery/displayimage.php?pos=-23266 (http://www.yobunny.org.uk/glassgallery/displayimage.php?pos=-23266)
as:
Sowerby pattern 1337 glass basket, shown on page 2 of pattern book XI (1885). Peacock head trademark and indistinct registry date lozenge. Uncommon pattern.
Sowerby RD 315673, registered on 29 October 1877 - Parcel 6
and on the corresponding GMB RD database album at

thanks Fred - not the first time I've punched in the name Sowerby with a Reg. No. and been told there's nothing available. I would have thought impossible to go wrong with a search parameter like that - obviously it is possible :-\
