Title: Smoke grey bulbous vase. ID please.
Post by: Della on July 29, 2006, 03:38:01 PM
Hi All,

Can anyone give me a clue as to where this vase originates from, please?
20.5cm (8") in height.
The base is slighty concave.

As always, many thanks in advance.  :D

I really like this one, Della.  I don't really comment on too many pieces, but if you're interested in putting it up for sale.........

I'm not sure but I think this one is by Zwiesel. Smoke vases were produced by many German firms in the seventies - it was a very popular colour.

Thanks Ivo,

I will do a litle scouting around. I actually didn't even consider Zwiesel

Nancy,
If I decide to sell, you will be the first to know. This vase is actually one that I have had for ages and I came across it in the attic yesterday, whilst looking for something totally different.  8)
