Bought this little one at the weekend.
Is it anything special? Not signed and the base isn't smooth.
I think it's modern but thought I'd double check before giving it to the other halfs collection! :)

sorry Ben, not a clue - bit of a fun guy though. I think ;) Most of the mushrooms I see are Wedgwood, and have smooth bases, and usually signed. If you wanted an attractive mushroom, then is this definitely the one. It won't help remotely with id, but you might care to add some dimensions.

I think it is the same make as this one on Ruby Lane, which had a circilar sticker on the base saying 'Handmade in Essex'. I noticed the base was also unpolished like yours Ben, and the stalk is very similar as well.
Somebody on here may know the full name of the studio in Essex.

Looking at a couple of others online, I think they may possibily be from the 'Barleylands Glassworks' Essex.

There is one here with a sticker on the base saying Barleylands Glassworks... ( it's visible in image no. 8 of 8 )
