Hi,
Can any of you tell if these goblets are authentic Venetian ones or a cheap reproduction

Thanks

Cheap reproduction sounds way too harsh to my ears, not easy things to make and these days the energy required for glass production is not cheap. A modern version of a traditional form would be my take on them - bold, bright and cheerful. The old expression 'nothing new under the sun' springs to mind, genuinely original and entirely new design is incredibly rare.

I would assume from Murano but guess they could have been made in many places.

Thanks John for the clarification, I had the impression that they're not genuine due to the light weight, they look like if they're made from plastic.

Geniune facon de venise is also incredibly lightweight.
There are not attempting to reproduce that, but are certainly inspired by it.
They really are rather lovely. No way a "cheap repro", simply wonderful contemporary goblets. :)

Many thanks chopin-liszt, I was just about to accept the idea that they are cheap Chinese glasses, but after what you said guys, I started to love them.
Thank you
