Title: small marble looking glass vase ?

l don't know what this type of glass is called
4 3/4 inch high
it looks like marble but l would like to know the correct term for it
and maker if possible

Looks a bit like 'Alabaster' glass by Stevens & Williams, any chance of a sharper image, in particular the base  ;D have included images of mine... ;D

ive added some more pics hope they are clearer
there is no makers mark on base just some light scratches
l will follow your suggestion for stevens and Williams and look for the same shape

Does the base have a polished pontil mark ?

the base is a  smooth level base,

Could be m, not seen this shape before and I've not seen a S&W's piece without a pontil mark,  ;D
