Can't say I'd heard of him but he worked at Okra and now produces ware from Scotland and very nice it is, well I think so ::) ;D ;D
-
Nice indeed. ;D
Do you know where in Scotland he produces his ware?
-
One website I looked at said John O' Groats, I think the studio was called 'Lanmara glass' I'll have another look ;D
-
::) It is, I've checked.
It's a bit far to visit, (I'm not even sure there are roads built to get there yet, or if you still have to go the old fashioned way, on a mountain goat.) but I've certainly heard of Lanmara glass.
-
Bit far for me, is there a bus from Brum to the Highlands ? Fort William is the closest I've been ::) ;D ;D
-
I've taken a steam train there, it runs between Fort William and Mallaig.
Don't ask me about buses. ;D
You'd need to find a local with a timetable to tell you which month one might be running.
Northlands Creative Glass is up thataway too. Folk get there by their own private helicopters, I think.

Not sure my 'pocket money' will run to a private helicopter ! :o ;D ;D
