Can't say I'd heard of him but he worked at Okra and now produces ware from Scotland and very nice it is, well I think so  ::) ;D ;D

One website I looked at said John O' Groats, I think the studio was called 'Lanmara glass' I'll have another look  ;D

It's a bit far to visit, (I'm not even sure there are roads built to get there yet, or if you still have to go the old fashioned way, on a mountain goat.) but I've certainly heard of Lanmara glass.

Bit far for me, is there a bus from Brum to the Highlands ? Fort William is the closest I've been  ::) ;D ;D

I've taken a steam train there, it runs between Fort William and Mallaig.
Don't ask me about buses.  ;D
You'd need to find a local with a timetable to tell you which month one might be running.

Northlands Creative Glass is up thataway too. Folk get there by their own private helicopters, I think.

Not sure my 'pocket money' will run to a private helicopter !  :o ;D ;D
