Title: Identity of glass mugs
Post by: philip on August 18, 2017, 05:08:15 PM
I am hoping that someone will be able to tell  me the country of origin and approximate date of manufacture of these small blown glass mugs.

I've accumulated forty or fifty of them over the years, have them in several colors, as well as clear, with varied decorations and inscriptions.  Height of most is around four inches, although I have several that are about half that size, and one or two that are significantly larger.

Will ne grateful for any information that anyone can provide.

Hi Philip, welcome to the Board.

Are you sure that the white mug is glass and not porcelain?

Hi Kevin-

Definitely glass, semi-opaque, and there is a nice pontil mark on the bottom.

Hi Philip and welcome to the Board.  Could you please add a photo of the base of the white one as I've not seen a white glass one like this before.
