I need help identifying this signature please. It is on an iridescent piece with the front polished and it has a lit base to show the inside. Michelle

Hello and welcome. :)
I can't see anything readable there, could you please try rubbing a little talcum powder over the signature with your thumb, to help bring it up for the photo?
Could we also please see the whole piece?
Often, it's easier to recognise somebody's work than their signature, and that can be used to work out if the signature is by the suspected artist.
It is also much better for our records to have an illustration of the piece being discussed. Thanks in advance! :)

Possibly Peter Layton
Roy

Here are some better pictures. I have had trouble resizing them, that's what took so long!

Hi
Still looks like Peter Layton to me although I only have my mobile to look at pictures.
Regards Roy

I'm sure it is Peter's signature Roy... I don't think it is made with acid though treasureprincess.

Agreed. :)

I want to thank all of you who helped me! Now I would like to sell it. Michelle

I would strongly suspect Peter Layton's designs will find their own price on that well-known auction site. :)
