As it's our anniversary today ( 39 ! ) we decided to treat ourselves we even got to say hello to Allister and Melissa :o so a good day out eh ?
-
:)
I've got a Fishtail stoppered Mermaid bottle too. ;D
A proper treat. Doesn't even smell fishy.
So, he's playing with latimo now. Interesting, I wonder where he'll take it. 8)

Certainly stands out ;D 14 inches tall, wish we could have stopped to chat as the White House cone museum was empty, maybe next time. ;D
-
Yours is a lot bigger than mine, ;D
but we've got another 9 years to go before we catch up on your anniversary.
(Except I don't ever remind him when, or even if, we have an anniversary, it scares him too much. :D)
-
Scares me, we've just had our first granddaughter with another along in a few weeks, can't believe I'm approaching the big 60 ! :o
-
I'm about to turn 60 myself.
I have neatly avoided becoming a grandparent by remaining very happily child-free. ;D
-
Another here in the almost 60 Club... :)
That's a rather nice thing, Keith, and happy anniversary to you both. Grandchildren are, so I am told, the reward for having had kids in the first place. ;)
-
Thanks Anne, your logic is sound ::) ;D ;D
-
You are 60 aren't you Sue? I thought you were a 1956 baby. My little Oliver is a joy at 15 months
-
Late '57. Just a couple of months to go.
And working on becoming more disreputable by the minute.
I've got my red hat and am digging out my purple velvet jacket ;D
-
So we have to leave off the red and purple until 60? Two more years to go then.
Carolyn
-
Not sure a red hat and purple jacket will suit me ! :o ;D ;D
-
oh no, you can wear a red and purple at any age you like. ;D
Whichever age you choose to consider to be "old" is arbitrary; old is just a matter of opinion.
I've always worn red and purple together. I'm just going to be much more blatant about it.
My new (second-hand) red hat is a big one. It's useful. Michael can find me after he's wandered off and left me behind. ::)
Keith, the whole point is that nothing suits.
"Warning" is the poem I'm referring to, if some folk don't know it. ;)
(and it does make me feel old to think that some folk don't know it yet. ;D)

Think I'll stick to my jeans and trainers, although I do have a few natty waistcoats ! 8)
