It has taken me a while to work out what the pattern is, but I've finally cracked it.
It's sprays of ready-stuffed olives. ;D

Nice find - presumably fruit bowls - or at least they look the same shape as a set online.

for those decadent days where one filled the party table with olives and cherries - maybe some years ahead of their time as that makes me think of the Mike Leigh film Abigail's Party.

They are a bit, not familiar with that particular film, afraid it's sci-fi for me, has been for the last 48 years after reading 'Day of the Triffids' when I was 11  ::) ;D ;D

Abagail's Party was '70s.
Half a grapefruit plonked on a plate, with cocktail sticks holding a cube of cheese and a lump of tinned pineapple stuck into it, aiming to look like a hedgehog.
Not stuffed olives and cherries, I'm afraid, not nearly that sophisticated!
