sorry, can't help specifically with this piece, but think you're correct with the Nuutajarvi signature.             This might be a design post Pina & Vigier's (2002), and could of course be very recent, but really not sure.          This one doesn't look to be in 'Smoke & Ice'.
Can't seem to match the designer's name with the following, but you may have better luck, since you have the piece in your hand ....

Nuutajarvi's Staff and Freelance Designers and artists  -  (post 1960):-

Harry Moilanen                        1960 - 62
Oiva Toikka                             1963 - 93  artistic advisor
Heikki Orvola                           1968 - 83,  freelance 1984 -
Inkeri Toikka                            1970 - 92,  freelance 1992 -
Kerttu Nurminen                       1972 -
Markku Salo                             1983 - 97,  freeland 1997 -
Taru Syrjanen                          1988 - 91
Tiina Nordstrom                       1988 - 90
Annaleena Hakati                     1993 -

Have just seen an image in Finnish glass lives 4 which shows an item of glass very similar to yours.
It is by Heikki Orvola 1996, described as fixed blown, sandblasted, cast and polished.
Hope this is of some use.

Scala, by Kaj Blomqvist for Heimo Koru. (goldsmiths that ordered them for gifts, there's a place for engraved plaque) I believe these have been produced both in Nuutajärvi and Humppila.
