Hi all,
I have these 4 wine glasses with, what looks like, a pineapple and oval pattern. 2 are initialled underneath, JK & 2 FC . All have the same, incredibly blurred acid stamp on the base too. The nearest shape for the stamp that I can find is Webb Corbett, although I cannot find a pattern match anywhere.
Does anyone recognise the pattern & maker, please?
TIA
Della

???
Has somebody been trying to dremmel a Joseph Reidel mark on them?
I have been told, from somebody in the catering trade (this was a good while ago, I'm not sure Bormioli have not overtaken them) that; "You can tell the top restaurants, they have Reidel glassware."
Reidel marks are etched, not written by hand.
Sorry if this is nonsense. Cut stuff is not my area. :)

That was my first thought, Sue, but it is definitely JK.

Our brains appear to be in sync. (Go and have a lie down and a glass of something nice; you need it!)
I also suspect the blurred mark could easily be Webb Corbett. I can almost see the double lines of the script even if i can't see any letters. ;D

I have a small vase with the W. Corbett mark and initials etched the same as yours except mine says DW, I think, can't get a good photo I'm afraid ::) ;D ;D

Thanks for that, Keith.
Wonder why the initials are there ???
