Hi,
I hope somebody can help or give me some advice as to where to look.
I have recently come across what i think is a candle holder and shade? It has a sticker on it saying 'Whitefriars made in England' so could it be genuine, and if so would it be of any value? The only other information i have is that it must be at least 20 years old.
Thanks in advance.

I had one m129 in a smokey grey i could not sell, with a label and sticker m129 that got recycled, can not see anyone faking it so i would have thought a yes to a very nice find.
As to a cash value, my rather dull example did not sell but this might be are rare combination?.

Thank you brucebanner. I did think it was a bit unusual. I have searched the internet and can't seem to find another like it, especially with the 2 colour glass. It was in my parent's display cabinet that i am disposing of and i almost gave it to the charity shop. I will definately now hold onto it and hopefully find out if it has any value. Any ideas how/where to find out?

Yup M129. Made from 1965-1976(ish) started making them in Ruby in 1967 so a very common colour even with the clear base. As to value, it's worth what someone is willing to pay.
