Title: Sowerby Pandora box
Post by: Pat on August 02, 2006, 07:11:54 PM
Does any one know how much these are worth? There is one at a good price with it's lid in our local charity shop but it has a good sized chip out of the bottom edge.

They seem to sell well enough if identified, especially with a lid, but I suppose resale value depends on the size and visibility of the chip. Is it a green uranium one? That might add to its value

Well it is green and looks as if it probably is uranium but never had my tester with me. The chip is obvious, they've got it turned to the back so you can't see it.

I even risk it in cyberspace, if it's something I really like!   :D
