I wonder if I could push the friendship and ask you and Sue or anyone else about the controlled bubble apple in the background. (See this other thread (https://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,66074.msg369481.html#msg369481)) It is quite weighty too and a darker amber colour than the bowls.
I did get these all together from England with a couple of Murano glass pieces and a couple of orange/amber bubble glass bowls that appear to be Whitefriars from my limited research on ebay. I might be wrong about those. They could be from China too.
As usual all help is always appreciative.

I do think your little bowls are Whitefriars. :)
You can see a pinkish sort of glow to the amber colour, and I think you should be able to hook a finger under the rim a little bit, it turns over nicely.
I am a lot less sure about your apple. I might suspect bohemian or even china.
Grab yourself a cuppa and some biccies, and get yourself settled in. ;D
It is amazing what we can still learn from the ancient world.
There is even new discussion going on right now, about how on earth the famous Portland vase was made and we're still not at all sure about diatreta and things like the Lycergus cup.
Please, though, could you start a different thread for each different bit of glass?
Discussions can get horribly complicated when folk are referring to different items illustrated. ;D

Hi Carole, you will see that I have created a separate thread for your Apple id request. As Sue says, things can get complicated when there are different maker items discussed in one thread.
Please therefore start a new thread for the bowls if you want to discuss those.
To all readers, please do not reply in this thread about the bowls. Thanks.
